Exemption Application Process - After Submission

What happens once I submit my application to the BCSC?

Once you decide to apply for an exemption, you must then determine what type of application you should file.

For local and passport applications where relief is granted, a letter is prepared and included with a certified copy of the order or decision document.

For dual and coordinated review applications where relief is granted, a letter is prepared and included with a copy (not certified) of the decision document. In both cases you can either send a courier to pick up the package or we will mail it to you.

You can file an exemption application for all orders using BCSC eServices.
